Chef Al has worked onboard mega yachts around the globe in providing all aspects of food service for you and your guests. Chef Al has worked on several vessels as a Chef and Steward and the largest yacht he worked on was a 108′ Westship where he completed two charters. He was the Head Chef with a crew of four and in charge of maintaining the entire interior in pristine condition. He is exceptional at being able to work with individuals at all levels, from diverse background and cultures. From linens to changing AC filters to decorating to the food and wine, he did it all!
Chef Al brings a lot to the table when aboard a mega yacht as a Chef. He can provision a yacht all through South Florida to Key West, as well as the Bahamas, Mexico, Panama, Colombia, Costa Rica, Central America, South America and Spain. He knows the Port Captains, as well as all of the areas marina managers, ship agents, and attorneys, meaning he can get whatever you need in any of these places.
Personally, Chef Al owns a 44′ Morgan Center Cockpit Sloop called The Sea Rooster. He has personally sailed over the years from San Diego, along the entire coast of Mexico to Panama through the Canal to Colombia, as well as throughout the Caribbean, Belize, Honduras, San Blass Island, the Dominican Republic, and much more. He has also delivered boats from the Bahamas to Florida and also from Florida to Mexico, Panama and the Dominican Republic.
Chef Al’s licenses and certifications include STCW 95; PADI Rescue Diver; PADI Advanced Open Water Diver; ASA 101 Basic Keelboat Certification; ASA 103 Coastal Cruising; and ASA 104 Bareboat Charting.
